Sabel is the daughter of Vietnamese boat refugees and working-class Virginians who has called Washington, DC home for nearly a decade. She currently serves as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for the 14th and U St area. Sabel is an involved community advocate who brings extensive experience to the table supporting businesses small and large. She is running for the DC Council to proactively address the needs and ensure the wellbeing of every resident in Ward 1 with bold, creative, community-driven solutions.
